Goal

I am 200lbs @ 5'6 inches tall. Yes, I am. How did I let things get this far? I'll tell you.

I stopped working out. I got a job sitting on the desk all day and sometimes nights. They feed you unhealthy things and make you feel like you can't say no. Yes, I take responsiblity, because I can say no, but you know, when you have no real access to healthy food and your hungry on campus then working and going to class for long hours...guess what? You take it. Then stop by that occasional fast food joint for a quick meal. We all do it.

Then I signed up for a Bally's fitness account last Tuesday. May 4, 2009 to be exact. This past Tuesday I was traumatized by the scale, the bmi test, and the ticker tape experience. It not only confirmed what I had a vague sense of, but it also made me angry.

I had it in mind to get back to the gym much earlier this semester in school. Albeit too late but better late than never.

Well, the semester is almost over and it's time to focus on what is important. My health. My pledge is to never let anything take precedence over my workout time.

My ultimate goal is to lose 40-50lbs.

My short term goal for health and for my wedding next year?

Lose 25lbs, add muscle tone, and maintain a low-sodium/calorie/sugar diet.

I'm on the grind.
